SYNOPSIS
Guinea-Bissau, 1969. A violent war pits the Portuguese colonial army against the guerrillas of the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde. NOME leaves his village and joins the maquis. Years later, he returned home a hero. But the jubilation soon gave way to bitterness and cynicism.
